The "fish" that you are referring to in the RC versions of Windows 7 is a beta fish. This is due to the beta version of Windows 7.

We currently have installed windows 7 on several of our clients computers, as well as one of our prominent servers, and so far, Windows 7 is going to be replacing most of our XP machines.

Thanks Microsoft, for finally listening!
