PCTechBytes is a well-established online tech resource for Do-It-Yourself computer repair. We have been online since 2002 and have a vast community of computer users and tech professionals in our forums. Our core content comes from professionals in the computing industry. We have recently decided to allow content from external sources, however. This means you can now submit your article to us for publication on PCTechBytes. While this is strictly volunteer on your part, it does have it’s advantages: Users who submit original content to us will be permitted a bio entry with a link back to their website. If you have a new website or business, this is a great way for you to get links back to your site from us!
The criteria for article submissions will be as follows:
- Articles must be 100% original. No exceptions.
- Article ideas must be submitted for review before you begin writing. Contact us.
- Email articles to us when finished. Be sure to include a short bio and a link to your website or business.
- Articles must be around 500 words–give or take 100.
- We reserve the right to reject the article if it doesn’t suit our needs.
We generally publish articles that fit into the following areas:
- Computer Troubleshooting
- Network Setup
- Virus and malware security
- Windows XP, Vista, 7
- Internet Explorer, Firefox Tips
- Major brand name tips for Dell, HP, Acer
