FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol and it can be used to move a lot of files from one location to another, without having to bother with using websites to download or sending files as attachments through email. But finding a good FTP client is hit or miss, and finding a free FTP client that actually works well and has a good user-interface is even harder. FileZilla is a fantastic commercial-grade FTP client that is completely free and allows you to save different site profiles so you do not always have to type in username and passwords.
