What Operating System is this? It's harder to crack Vista passwords but it is easy for XP but your quickest course of action would be to simply reinstall since you have the disk. But you will need to enter your BIOS setup and change the first boot device to the CD ROM drive. Your main boot screen will probably tell you what key to press to enter setup.

Hello everyone .
On January 1, 2010 i recently changed my administrator password, because i didn't want the password to be the same as the other ones that i use for other accounts. But now I've forgotten my administrator's password . I've tried logging in using all the familiar passwords i could have use for emails and other internet accounts; but i just cannot log in....that created an issue for me as-well, due to i cannot download and configure program settings. previously before changing the password, i reset the computer so it could run faster, which it does now ! L.O.L
I've also contacted dell, i have a life time warranty on my pc for hadware NOT software, so they wouldn't assist me with the issue if i don't pay them $100.** for support on trouble shooting . i do have the Windows XP professional CD at hand, but i cannot re-install windows xp because im not log in as an "administrator" . WOW
Questions:

1. how can i reboot from the windows xp pro cd ?
2. how to create a reset administrator disc from scratch ?
3. is there a way to reset my administrator password using another user account on the computer ?
4. i believe dell has a free technical support number; do you know this number ?
5. i will also contact the dealer who sold this computer to me to help me with this issue, but if they wont help me for "free", where and what else should i do ???

Thank You to all in advance on answering these questions; happy new year to you all !
Please HELP ME!!!!!!!!
