How to Download Flash
The Flash player is a program by Adobe that allows you to view Flash content on the web. Since a lot of websites use Flash for their design, content and interactivity, it is considered an essential download. Flash can be downloaded and installed for most web browsers, and the process only takes a few minutes. |
Where to Download the Flash Player
You can get the download directly from the Adobe website.
Click here to get the flash download
. Before downloading be sure to read what you’re downloading. You’ll notice that the Google Toolbar is checked by default. This will add the Google toolbar to your browser Window. If you do not want it, simply uncheck the box. It will not affect the Flash player at all. You will also have to check the box agreeing to their terms and conditions for use. After that, just click the Install Now button and the client will download and install. You may get a warning message in the browser when you begin the download. Click to allow the client permission to install and Internet Explorer will continue the Flash installation process.

The flash player download is approximately 2 MBs and will only take a few minutes to download and install depending on the speed of your computer. Once installed, it will run in the background and you will suddenly be able to view Flash content. As a user, you do not have to launch the player, it will simply run when your browser runs.
You may occasionally be prompted to update your Flash player. This is generally only done if there is a problem with security or a major bug fix. If you are ever prompted to update the software, you should do so as soon as possible.
