How do I sign up?
Signup is fast and easy. Just register and respond to the confirmation Email we send you. You can then login and begin asking questions! Register here!

How do I ask a question on the message board?
The message board is broken up into different categories. You should post your question in the category that best suits your question. For example, if you have a question about Internet Explorer, you will scroll down and click the link that says "Web Browsers." You will then see a button that says "New Thread." Once you click that, you will be taken to a new screen where you will type a subject line, then your question. Click "Submit New Thread" when you are done with your question or comment. Your post is now viewable by other members.

How do I send a Private Message?
If you want to ask another member a question or if you just want to say "hello," you can send them a private message by clicking on their name. You will see several different links on the new page, but if you look under Contact Info you will see a link for the Private Message.

How do I post a signature?
You must be a VIP to have signature capabilities. You will find a link in the User CP that says "Signature." Add your text and submit it. But again, only VIP's signatures will show up on the board.

How do I become a VIP?
VIP status is awarded instantly to those who donate to our message board. The price for a 12 month subscription is only $9.95. After those 12 months you can either revert to a normal register user status or sign up for another 12 months as VIP. VIP's get the use of a signature, their PM space is upgraded from 10 to 50 messages and VIPs are also allowed to use 150x150 avatars--that's double the normal size. While those upgrades are great, being a VIP means you care and want to contribute to the growth and development of our community.

To sign up, go to your User CP and scroll down to "Paid Subscriptions," then under the cost section, click the down arrow and you will see the current subscription price of $9.95 per 12 months. Or just click here. We currently accept secure payments through Paypal.

Can I upload my own avatar?
Sure, and we encourage everyone to personalize their account. You can upload avatars through your User CP. Registered Users can have an avatar 75x75, while VIPs can have avatars as large as 150x150.

How should I format my question?
Be as specific as possible when asking your computer question. List as much information about your PC as possible, including Operating System, model of the PC, amount of RAM, etc...Also, be descriptive in the subject line. A subject line of "Helllllppppp! accurately describes your urgency but does not help other users find answers to the same problem. If your hard drive has crashed, a good subject line would be "My hard drive has crashed. Please help!"
