Didn't build my own computer this time. I got a deal on this acer (AST690-UP925A). I thought that I would try out Vista. I'm not really impressed.
My Sony mini DV recorder software isn't compatible with Vista.
Having several compatibility issues.
My plan was to clean install Win XP onto my arer, but I was unable (on Acer's site) to find any XP motherboard drivers. STUCK WITH VISTA ON THIS MACHINE I GUESS.
I am now using my old cpu so that I will be able to upload video to my computer.
(No driver upgrade to Vista is available for my Sony DCR-HC36 Handycam) either

Not Happy With Vista.

You should be able to get the drivers from the manufacturers' websites. If you have Intel networking, go to intel. If you have nvidia graphics, go to nvidia etc.

Every function is a continuous function. :)

Thanx Random1

Don't I need actual chipset drivers for the m-b manufactured by acer?
