My laptop was on repair some time ago( chipset was replaced, laptop 3 years old). After repair it working all fine, but battery stops charging at 60-62%, no matter charging laptop powered on or off, shows "Plugged in, not charging" status in control panel! Untill repair battery was OK, charged till 100% in 2 hours as it must be. So i don't know where is the problem, I have searched many forums on Interenet tried many solutions, still nothing worked. Please help me to solve this problem!

I would remove the battery and AC adapter, hold down the power button for 1 minute, and then plug just back in the AC adapter and make sure everything powers up fine. Shut back down, remove the AC adapter, plug in the battery, replug in the AC adapter and try to charge.

If that doesnt work, odds are you need a new battery.

Buy a new battery is about all you can do.
