Download Imgburn and burn Ultimate Boot CD

Easiest way for me to burn ISO:
Download imgburn: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
Install by following onscreen instructions
Download Ultimate Boot CD .ISO file: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html
Open imgburn and click on the first icon that says "Write image file to disc",
Top left corner says "Source" "Please select a file" with a folder and a magnifying glass - click that folder
Search to where you downloaded the .ISO file for UBCD and choose it
Bottom left corner is a button that looks like a piece of paper with a CD on it and an arrow pointing to a CD - click it

Wait for it to get done and boot off of it.

Making sure your Optical/DVD drive is the first boot device:
Power on the PC and hit "F2" or "ESC" or whatever gets you into BIOS. It should prompt onscreen what to hit.
Depending on what BIOS you're using, there will be a section that says "Boot device order" or "Boot priority", make sure "Optical Drive" is at the top of that list and doesn't have an "!" by it which signifies it's being skipped. Try to boot off of the UBCD.

I just want to add two things.

1. If you already have a cd burning program that is capable of writing ISO files, imgburn is not necessary. Nero and Roxio for example, can do this as well. There are literally hundreds of programs out there that are capable. Imgburn is a solid and free program that is typically recommended by members of this site including myself. Therefore, don't feel obligated to download "another" program if you already have something that can do this.

2. There have also been questions recently about where to find the download for UBCD. All one has to do is scroll all the way
down to the bottom of the page. You will see a listing of Mirror sites. To the left of each site will be one or two silver box like
images with a red down arrow above it. Click on one of those boxes to start the download. I also recommend that you choose a mirror site that is physically closest to you. The download should be a little faster for you. The home page for UBCD is very long so this is easily overlooked.

Just putting these out there as these have been questions I've had to answer on several occasions recently. Hopefully this will
clear those up.
