OK so i wanna install another HDD in my laptop it has an extra bay and i already bought the caddy from ASUS it didn't come with the screws and i don't know how to size computer screws it saysand I've tried looking for the screws myself but they are different lengths and i don't know what exact size i need. the m3 is the diam of screw & the 3.5 is the metric pitch of the thread.

Dang, 65 cents a screw, Im in the wrong business. If you have a local PC shop around they will prolly give you two for free, I know we used to unless you needed a lot of them. If you look at the screws in the other HDD caddy, those will be roughly what you need. You can always go shorter as long as the diameter is the same and the thread type. Only advised not to go with longer screws than what they have in place as it could touch the motherboard or reach the top touchpad bezel.
Basically what Sly gave should be enough to go on but I felt like rambling a bit.

I'm unfortunately in Germany so i don't know where to look for a computer store and AAFES doesn't sell parts...
