Vector Graphics - Lines that are drawn through mathmatical description to form images.
VGA - VGA stands for Video Graphics Adapter and is found on most PCs.
Video Capture Device - A Video Capture Device takes an analog signal and converts it to digital. An example would be pulling video off of a camcorder and putting it on your hard drive through a USB or Firewire connection.
Virtual Memory - Virtual Memory is simulated RAM that is actually part of a hard drive partition. This is also known as a page file.
Virus - A virus is considered malicious code placed on a system without the users consent or knowledge. A trojan virus can mask itself as another program and turn the host computer into a zombie machine. A worm will replicate and Email itself to others.
VoIP - Voice over IP is a technology that allows voice to be transmitted over IP. Broadband has spurred a growth in this new form of communication.
