Amazon is now offering 5GB of free storage space which they call Amazon Cloud Drive. The online drive allows you to store music, photos, videos and documents. In addition, any music purchased through Amazon is stored for free, meaning the space the songs take up do not go against your 5GB of storage space. There are other services that offer similar storage deals, but one of the primary differences is the ability to play your music from anywhere via the Amazon Cloud Player
Having your music online to stream over your phone or computer is an enticing offer. Amazon is making it easier for consumers to buy and stream content online. In addition to Amazon Cloud Drive, Amazon recently gave Amazon Prime members free streaming movie capabilities similar to Netflix.
You can buy more space, if necessary. The plans range from 5GB for free or 1000GB for a wacky $1000 a month. Even if you’re not interested in using the Amazon online music player, it’s good to have 5 GB of free online storage for backing up your music and other important documents.
