Normally you will always want to install the latest stable version of any web browser. Browsers are frequently updated to provide security fixes and to add functionality. But there could be instances where you want to go back and download a previous release of Firefox. Fortunately, Mozilla gives us access to their FTP site which has all versions of Firefox–past, present and future located there for easy download.
To download a previous version of Firefox, visit the Mozilla download site and pick the release you want. It will download and install just as any other program would. You might want to do this if you are running an older Operating System due to application capability purposes. Or if you’re looking for the latest beta release, you can find it on their download site as well.
If you require a previous version of Internet Explorer, you can get it from the Microsoft IE download site.
