When you buy a multifunction printer, user manual will be in the box. To install a printer to your computer, you will need:
- USB cable – will (usually) be in the box

Remember, printer software should be specific to your operating system and it should be compatible to your printer model. If you are considering downloading the recommended software, you should make sure that the software is matched with your operating system needs.
Step 2:
Take out the printer from the box and remove its packing material. Insert toner or ink cartridges, if necessary. Some all in one printers are already have these installed before shipping. Plug the power cable to power bar and to the printer. Language can be set up through LCD screen, if your printer model has this capability.
Step 3:
Calibrate the printer, if necessary. To place a page in scanner, you will need to lift the scanner lid and place the printed calibration page face-down on the scanner to the right edge of scanner glass. Press scan button and wait for few seconds until the scanner heats up. When the process will complete it will display “Ready” on the screen.
Step 4:
Now, insert the installation CD into your operating system but don’t connect USB cable to your system until prompted. Accept the license agreement’s terms and condition of the software and then enter the required information. The software will pause in the middle of installation process and it will ask you to plug in the printer. Now connect the USB cable to your system. After then, it will show you a message “printer is installed successfully”. Now, you can enjoy & share impressive printed material with your friends or colleagues.
