Problems with Internet Explorer can be frustrating. It is possible to reinstall IE if you've gotten to the point where Spyware or other code has rendered it corrupt.

Go to START>Run and copy and paste the following:
rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\Inf\ie.inf

You will need you XP CD and Windows Service Pack 2 CD if you have one. You can order a SP2 CD from Microsoft by going to:
