Forget Hijack and go immediately to the Download Section on the Message Board Home Page [upper right].

Down load ANY of the FREE anti/virus/spy programs and RUN them IMMEDIATELY!!

Then please remove your Hijack log

Spybot Search and Destroy is what you really want from the downloads sections, I would also run the free adaware scanner from www.lavasoft.com

On a side note, Ctrl+Alt+Del is dying, the new sequence is Ctrl + shift + esc.

i ran spybot and it said that it could not remove something from the memory and it's still not working (nor does ctrl+shift+esc)

Restart in safe-mode and run the scan again. You have some sort of spyware.

To get into safe-mode, restart your computer and start to tap F8 and a menu will show up, and select safe mode. The next time you restart, it will be normal.

System restore would be easiest. You will just have to reinstall any programs that you may have installed since last week.

Shut Down your computer & restart it in safe mode by tapping F8 until you hear a beep.

Go to #3 safe mode

Start, programs, accessories, system tools, System Restore!

Pick a back date you know was working and follow directions.

Use our download center to get the latest anti-virus/spy stuff & run it!
