Compaq Armada laptop, same one in post won't start. It does not have a CD drive but has a floppy drive. It has a USB port and in device manager, it shows the USB as working. The driver is installed.

Every time I hook up a USB device, external cd drive and external hard drive, the computer wants a driver for them, I have no cd drive to install a drive for the devices. The drivers are too large for a floppy drive.

Can anyone help me with this?

I have a program that I need to run on this computer but it is on CD.

If you can post info about the drive itself, it could be possible to find win98 drivers, or you can try using generic USB drivers for it.
