wi fi help

Recommended Posts

I have win7 and a Belkin Wireless Router.

It was working ok and today I could not go online.

The Wi Fi ANT. on my Keyboard is turned ON and my LAN is turned on.

But if I put my mouse over my Wi Fi icone in the system tray it says No Internet Connection.

So I click on it and it brings up all the wi fi routers and I pick my Belkin Router name.

Then after I pick it from the list it pups up a Tab that says Conect so I click it.

But it always tells me No Internet conection in the system tray.

I tried going into my Network Properties and Deletting my Account for the wi fi and Deletting my Belkin Router.

And starting over and having my system find my Belkin Router and then ask me for my Password and so on.

And when I get it all setup again it still says No Internet Connection and the bottom for the wi fi icon.

But my Android Tablet still goes online with the Router so I know I am over looking something.

Any help

Sometimes routers get stuck and even though other wireless devices still get the internet one or more other aren't able to connect or see the internet until the router is rebooted. That is one of the first steps when wireless devices don't connect or don't receive the internet is to try rebooting, it. All you have to do is unplug the router for 30 seconds or so and plug it back in (that's the power plug I'm talking about), give it a couple of minutes to come back up verify by the lights on it that's it's back up broadcasting and receiving the internet itself and try to connect to it then.
