To discuss VoIP phone

Recommended Posts

This is to discuss VoIP phone. I would like to try VoIP facility. I think there are some system requirements to implement VoIP facility. I found some information here <removed link>. What is the additional hardware support we needed to install VoIP? How much bandwidth does a VoIP conversation use? The voice quality should be perfect. If possible, suggest me a good internet package for this. I am expecting your replies. Thank you.

The internet package will depend on what ISPs are in your area and what services they provide.  How big of a VOIP setup are you talking?  That will determine the size and hardware you would need.  VOIP is only as good as the hardware you put it on.  The backbone is your switches and routers so don't go cheap.  The handsets and headsets you buy will also play a big role.  Have battery backups on all equipment so phone lines are still operational if there is a loss of power.
