Dell xps 13 hinge or screen replacement?

Question

I got an xps 13 and it started to come apart. Two computer repair shops told me the hinge was broken they could not get part or do anything with it I would have to go to dell for parts. After phoning up dell they said I'd have to replace the whole touch screen for £670. I'm hoping they are at it and there is a cheaper way to fix it. Does anybody have any ideas?

You would have to disassemble it but it looks like the bottom base screw ports broke free, not the hinges.  Without seeing inside of it I couldnt tell you for sure but all you may need to buy are the bottom case and touchpad bezel.  Both can be had on eBay for around $30 a piece.
